Foldr macOS Setup guide

Foldr for macOS is a drive that sits within you Mac’s finder giving you access to all of your connected storage from a single location. This will give you access to your MC staff and personal drives both internally and externally.

1. Download the latest Foldr macOS client directly from Foldr

2. Run through the standard Installation for the Foldr client on your macOS device

3. Launch the Foldr application from your mac applications launcher

4. Configure Foldr settings as below:

Server address: https://foldr.macquariecollege.nsw.edu.au
Use Single Sign-On: Uncheck
Username: Your MC username not your e-mail address
Password: Your MC password
Sign in automatically: Check

5. Click on Open Folder and you can now navigate through the My Files folders to find your network drives

Foldr Windows Setup guide

Foldr for Windows is a connector that puts your on-premise and cloud-based storage into single drive (z:) accessible through your Windows PC.
1. Download the latest Foldr for Windows (x64) installer from the Foldr website (Make sure it is the (x64) version)

2. Run the setup / installer file for Foldr. If Windows protected your PC appears then select More info and slect Run anyway.

3. Complete the standard Installation for the Foldr client with the default options (next next etc)

4. Launch the Foldr application (it should appear in your start menu)

5. Configure Foldr settings as below:

Server address: https://foldr.macquariecollege.nsw.edu.au
Use Single Sign-On: Uncheck
Username: Your MC username not your e-mail address
Password: Your MC password
Sign in automatically: Check

6. You should now see Foldr appear as a Z: drive and your files available in the My Files folder
